Asterix at the Olympic Games
We all know them: Asterix and Obelix, two of the most famous comic characters in the world, and with them the small Gaulish village that successfully defends itself against the Roman occupiers time and again.
The Gauls are always setting themselves new challenges, taking part in contests, competing with each other and radiating pure joie de vivre. So they have a lot in common with the athletes of Special Olympics.
We are all the more pleased that a special edition of Asterix and Obelix "Asterix at the Olympic Games" has been published on the occasion of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
The special thing about it is that this edition is being published in Easy English for the first time – with only 20,000 copies, 13,000 in German (Leichte Sprache) and 7,000 in English, it is a real collector's item.

Make a statement with our socks
With the designer socks "Respect" by MSTRY, a real statement was made. In collaboration with the sustainable fashion label and our athletes, unique socks were developed in a creativ workshop.
The "Respect" lettering on the socks makes a statement for more acceptance, appreciation and recognition of people with intellectual disabilities. With their purple colour and the beautiful, soft fabric, the socks are a real eye-catcher. They are available in sizes 36-41 and 42-47 in our webshop.

12 athletes and Friends of the Games Björn Kroner und Dr. Florian Langenscheidt have been happily sampling and testing at the Ritter Sport Bunten Schokowelt Berlin to discover their chocolate favourites.
The result is a set of 3 vegan chocolates, the Ritter Sport x Special Olympics Edition in the flavours: Roasted Peanut, Mild Classic and Crunchy Almond.
