Roller Skating
Since 1987, roller skating has been part
of the Special Olympics World Games.
Athletes wear roller skates.
They skate different distances.
For example, 100 metres or 500 metres.
Roller skating is done indoors.
Sometimes there are obstacles.
The athletes then skate around the obstacles.
Who wins the competition?
The athlete who completes the course in the quickest time taken.
